Position Details:

  • Full-time role (72 hours per pay period)

  • 12-hour shifts available for both day (7 AM - 7 PM) and night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM). Night shifts include an 11% differential.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • ACLS certification within 3 months of hire (training provided).

  • NIH Stroke certification within 3 months of hire (training provided).

Job Description

The Global Head of Commercial Data Foundations is a critical leadership role responsible for developing and implementing the overall strategy for Commercial Data Foundations, as well as managing all related digital and data products.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Data Strategy: Define and execute the strategy for Commercial Data Foundations, ensuring alignment with business priorities and evolving market ecosystems.

  • Standardization and Efficiency: Promote simplification, harmonization, and efficiency within the data platform landscape through convergence and integration.

  • Future-Ready Solutions: Design strategies to prepare the organization for evolving commercial needs, enabling high-value, data-driven use cases.

  • Product Development: Build and manage a portfolio of digital products to enhance Commercial Data Foundations, ensuring scalability and global distribution.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with data Centers of Excellence and advanced analytics/AI teams to optimize data tools, platforms, and technologies.

  • Data Governance: Partner with data governance leaders across business units to enable robust governance practices.

  • Leadership: Oversee a Commercial Data Engineering Center of Excellence, fostering innovation and operational excellence.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems.

  • Experience:

    • Proven success in leading digital and technology initiatives within matrix organizations.

    • Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams in diverse markets.

    • A strong track record in creating and scaling digital solutions globally.

  • Language: Fluency in oral and written English.

 

Technical Skills

  • Data Management: Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Graph/Vector Databases) and Data Lakes.

  • Data Visualization: Experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.

  • Integration: Expertise in data integration tools (e.g., IICS) and combining data from diverse sources.

  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with leading cloud environments.
