As an Azure Developer, you will be part of building a new discipline and service offering within our client's organization. Alongside ambitious colleagues, including speakers and a Microsoft MVP, you will contribute to client projects as an Azure Developer or Cloud Engineer. Diversity is key.

You will work on projects involving the migration of existing applications or deploying cloud-native components to accelerate new developments. Sometimes your focus will be on writing Bicep, while at other times, you’ll integrate .NET with PaaS components. These are often secondment-based projects, but shorter consultancy assignments are also possible. You’ll contribute to our client's internal Azure-stack, currently built with Azure Kubernetes Service, but transitioning to Azure Container Apps with a more robust network infrastructure.

You will have the freedom to experiment and share your knowledge with us. Whether it's gaining more control over the cloud with Azure Policy or promoting sustainability with Azure Carbon Optimization, your ideas are welcome. You can experiment with your own Azure Sandbox Subscription or within our client's Azure-stack. Naturally, we will share our expertise with you as well.

Ideal Candidate

You are an experienced Azure Developer, Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or .NET Engineer with a drive to make Azure even smarter. You are eager to learn more, continuously improve, and share your knowledge with colleagues. If you have ideas to make things better, you’re encouraged to speak up—everyone will hear your thoughts.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as an Azure Developer, Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, .NET Engineer, or similar.

  • Proficient in Bicep, Terraform, and C#.

  • Familiar with Azure Landing Zones, Azure Well Architected Framework, and Cloud Adoption Framework.

  • Experience with event-driven architectures and scalable microservices using Azure Kubernetes, Container Apps, Functions, etc.

  • Knowledge of networking concepts in Azure and experience setting up a Hub-Spoke network.

  • Preferably certified with AZ-104, AZ-204, or AZ-400, or open to obtaining certification with our support.

REQUIRED

  • Strong experience in Workday’s Integrations – STUDIO, PECI, CC, DT, API, Calculated Fields..etc and Reports – ADVANCED, MATRIX, TREND. Etc

  • Good knowledge of Workday Core HCM , Compensation & Security

  • Functional exposure (e.g. solution consultant, business analyst) to designing end-to-end complex automations between multiple systems involving Workday

  • Solid technical foundation (even with limited hands-on experience) in enterprise SaaS / PaaS integration, automation, and API management platforms such as Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, ServiceNow Integration Hub etc..

  • Knowledge of SOAP, RESTful API’s and data structures (JSON), XML / XSLT

  • Exposure with Cloud business applications either in functional areas like Workday, ServiceNow, SAP HANA, Microsoft Sharepoint etc

  • Solid ITIL knowledge on service operations and service management. Experience with different project management approaches (e.g. waterfall, agile)

  • Vendor / stakeholder Management

  • Able to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment. Open-minded, creative and innovative.

 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Be part of Workday Technical DevOps team, supporting Workday Integrations/Reports that is an integral part of Core HR / HCM, TRP, LRN, T&A, COMP and BEN modules.

  • Virtual working in a global environment with culturally diverse teams and across many organizational boundaries (HR and IT)

  • Ensuring integrity of the end-to-end Workday landscape, data flows and integrations with connected systems throughout the change and deployment lifecycle

  • Driving value through automations: finding the opportunities by proactively working together with other internal IT or business stakeholders, creating solutions that add value, delivering and supporting them excellence

  • Manage demand pipeline, requirement gathering and definition, and make portfolio decisions

  • Manage both project delivery and operational support excellence (project delivery, support and changes to existing automations)

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $1,35,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
